Dairy Road Alpacas - Wednesday 24th September 2025

Join us as we travel to The Oaks (20 minutes west of Camden) to visit the friendly alpacas at Dairy Road Alpacas. Owners, Lyn & Peter, lovingly care for these docile creatures & look forward to sharing their knowledge on alpacas: where they come from, when they entered Australia and all their characteristics. The talk will be informative, entertaining and light hearted. There will also be a demonstration of how raw alpaca fleece is processed into yarn. Following the talk, there will be ample opportunities to mingle with the alpacas, take plenty of photos and hand feed them.

Itinerary:

6:30 - 7:30am - Home pick up service within our advertised ^pick up area (please take note of the early start for this day tour)

Comfort stop enroute to venue

10:30am - 12:30pm - Visit Dairy Road Alpacas

1:00 - 2:15pm - Lunch at a local pub in Camden

4:30pm - Arrive back at Kariong & begin ^home drop off service (there will be a comfort stop on the way back to the Coast)
