I suggest you complete your criminal record prior to commencing course.

If you have a bad record, the RMS can refuse your application for bus accreditation.

The RMS makes the final decision on your application but you have to be seen to be a fit & proper person to work with school children and the the public

It is my understanding that your application can be declined for the following:

  • child related sex offences
  • issues with violence
  • an AVO against you
  • a bad driving record
  • drink driving or drugs

I suggest you complete your medical form prior to commencing the course.

The RMS will refuse your application for a bus authority if your Doctor doesn't sign off on your health report

Click on the above link and print the Medical Assessment form to take to your Doctor

When requesting a booking with your Doctor, you need to tell them it is for a Bus Authority as you will require a double appointment

You will be looking at around $120 for the Medical to be done at your Doctors

Please read the Bus Authority Manual prior to attending the course. This will save you time and increase your chance of a first time pass.

There are one hundred questions in the assessment and you must get 100% correct.

Does not include RMS , Medical , or Police Report fees
