Applicant's Responsibilities:

To take responsibility for any damage caused to the training vehicle during the training session To adhere to all road rules and regulations during training and assessment To actively participate and engage in all training activities and discussions To ask questions and seek clarification if unsure about any aspect of the training or assessment To practice safe driving habits at all times To follow safety instructions provided by the trainer or assessor To notify Connect Coaches immediately of any changes to personal information or circumstances that may affect training or assessment To maintain a positive and respectful attitude towards Connect Coaches staff and other participants during training and assessment To accept feedback and constructive criticism from the trainer or assessor in a professional manner To comply with any additional requirements or policies set out by Connect Coaches for the duration of the training and assessment process.

NB: Applicants must not offer bribes to Instructors or Assessors.

NB: Connect Coaches does not allow smoking in their vehicles

Connect Coaches' Responsibilities:

  1. To provide qualified instructors to provide the Training & Assessment
  2. To follow correct Roads & Maritime Service procedures at all times
  3. To provide the best possible training environment for the applicant to help achieve the standard required by Roads & Maritime Services to successfully complete their licence
  4. To provide a safe and friendly environment to complete a training course
  5. To speak appropriately to the applicant throughout the training course
  6. To give clear and precise instructions during training and assessment
  7. To provide a suitable, roadworthy vehicle that meets the Roads & Maritime Services requirements to complete the required licence
  8. To have all insurances for vehicles, inclding Public liability & Personel Idemnity up to date
  9. To choose suitable, ethical & qualified trainers & assessors to complete training or assessment for the applicant's requirements
  10. To follow the Roads & Maritime Services Code of Conduct at all times
  11. To report any forms of bribery or misconduct to the Roads & Maritime Services
  12. To have all licences and certificates involved with the applicable training courses to be current at all times
