An Afternoon in Coogee
Coogee is a relaxed coastal suburb. It's broad, sandy beach appeals to both swimmers and surfers, and the ocean pools cut into the headlands are popular with families. There are laid-back pubs and bars on the beachfront, while the surrounding streets are filled with alfresco cafes. Joggers take in dramatic ocean views on the Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk. Nearby Gordon's Bay has snorkelling trails and rich marine life.

Connect Coaches is providing people with the opportunity to spend an enjoyable Summer's afternoon is this beautiful area. The price includes a home pick up & drop off service (see our pick up/drop off area map for details), afternoon tea & return transfer to Coogee.

Tour Route: Travel via Double Bay, Dover Heights, Bondi Beach & Tamarama to Coogee Beach

Coogee:
We plan to arrive in Coogee at approximately 3:00pm and depart at 6-6:30pm.

You will have about 3 hours to:

Browse around the shops
Relax on the beach
Go for a walk around the cliff tops
Dine in one of the cafes or at the well known Coogee Bay Hotel or Coogee Pavilion
Enjoy fish & chips on the beach

Arrival time back at Kariong: We will arrive back at Kariong at approximately 8pm.

Connect Coaches is providing a return coach service to Cronulla where you will board the Gunnamatta, a modern twin deck, twin engine 14.9 metre catamaran with a luxurious interior. The vessel is fully equipped with galley facilities, a fully licensed and well stocked bar, four toilets and comfortable seating on both decks.

The Gunnamatta is surrounded by large glass windows, providing panoramic views of the stunning Port Hacking River scenery as it glides along. It also has a large, open upper sundeck, allowing passengers to experience the full wonder of the beautiful waterway.

While your lunch is prepared on board by the chef, be captivated by the breathtaking scenery as you cruise through the shimmering waters of Port Hacking with its mesmerising views of the Royal National Park and amazing waterfront properties.

Tour Summary: The Coach departs the Central Coast at 8:30am & travels the scenic route up to Newcastle. We will make a brief stop for morning tea at Norah Head Lighthouse before continuing north up to the historic site of Fort Scratchley. Once there, we will be taken on a 90 minute guided tour of the site & tunnels. Guided tours are led by passionate Fort Scratchley Historical Society volunteers with a wealth of knowledge about the site. Following the tour, we will have lunch at the Queens Wharf Hotel before heading back to the Central Coast, arriving back at approximately 5:00-5:30pm.

Newcastle Explorer

Summary: The Coach departs Central Coach travelling up to the historical town of morpeth, the passengers will have the time to purchase Tea & Coffee and browse the beautiful shops.

From Morpeth, we will then continue up to Nelson bay for lunch where passengers will have time to browse shops and purchase lunch at one of the many cafes and coffee shops at their own expense. We will then look around some of the surrounding bays of port stephens.

After lunch, the coach will make its way back to the central coast via the sites of newcastle, stopping off at Nobby's beach in the afternoon to view the famous 'Nobby's Lighthouse'. After departing Newcastle we will continue back to the central coast via the Coast road.
