Ferragosto Italian Festival - Sunday 16th August 2026
Every August, Great North Road in Five Dock comes alive with the sights, sounds, and flavours of Italy for Ferragosto – our biggest celebration of Italian food, culture, and heritage. With vibrant performances, bustling market stalls, and live cooking demonstrations, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
ITINERARY
8:00am - 9:00am - **Pick up route then depart West Gosford at 9:05am after a comfort stop
10:00am - 2:00pm - Free time to explore the Festival
3:30pm - Arrive back at West Gosford & begin **drop off route
** For this event, Connect Coaches will pick up passengers from various locations on the Central Coast.
Connect Coaches will contact passengers a few days beforehand to confirm their pick up time & pick up location.
A second bus will pick up people from the following locations if we receive enough interest from people living in the Peninsula area:
Mantra Ettalong Beach
West St Umina Beach
Woy Woy Station

Lunch can be purchased from one of the many food stalls at the markets

Weather:
Unfortunately, there may be times where the event organisers need to cancel a market due to torrential local rainfall, severe weather warning or damaged grounds. This decision is sometimes made at late notice (that is; the morning of the markets)
If this occurs, Connect Coaches will provide a full refund to those who have paid if they are unable to attend on the rescheduled date.
Minimum Numbers:
This event will only proceed if 10 people have booked & paid. When cancelled by Connect Coaches, a full refund will be issued
