Join us on a very special overnight tour where the highlight will be experiencing Australia's largest annual festival of light, transforming Sydney city into an immersive canvas of creativity and innovation, featuring large-scale light installations and 3D projections on iconic landmarks.
TOUR DATES: Wednesday 10th - Thursday 11th June 2026
DAY ONE: Our first stop after departing Kariong at 10:00am will be the Sydney Opera House where we take part in a guided tour & see this iconic venue like never before. Beneath the magnificent sails lies incredible spaces and stories. We will learn about the controversial history, unforgettable performances and exciting future of the Sydney Opera House. We will walk through and see the building up close and personal, where each perspective brings a unique and breathtaking experience.
After the tour, we enjoy a show-stopping meal at either Opera Bar, House Canteen or Midden where we can take in some of the best views of Sydney Harbour whilst enjoying lunch from their special Tour & Dine menu.
We will then be driven over to the Grace Hotel for a 3:00pm check-in. This heritage-listed hotel was built by the Grace Brothers in the 1920s. It has been beautifully restored & all rooms have walk-in showers. You can spend the afternoon relaxing & recharging your batteries in preparation for the exciting evening ahead!
We head over to King St Wharf at 6:30pm & board our Captain Cook vessel for a 3-hour dinner cruise. With unique vantage points to view the Vivid Lights, there will be amazing photo opportunities of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. Enjoy a 3-course dinner (served alternately) whilst admiring the superb views through the vessel’s expansive windows.
After disembarking at 10:00pm, we take the short drive back to the Grace Hotel for a restful night’s sleep in one of their Signature Superior King rooms which have been stylishly designed for comfort.
DAY TWO:After a delicious buffet breakfast (available from 7:00am) & a late check out time of 11:00am, a leisurely morning awaits to enjoy the hotel’s facilities or engage in a spot of retail therapy at the nearby QVB or Pitt St Mall (only a 5-minute walk).
If you fancy a view of the CBD 250 metres above street level, let us know, & we will happily accompany you to the top of Sydney’s tallest structure, the Sydney Tower Eye, to uncover breathtaking 360° views from the observation deck (at an extra cost - $33pp).
After working up an appetite, we board the coach & make our way to Blackwattle Bay, Pyrmont to visit the Sydney Fish Markets, an authentic working fish market with over 4o retailers. You will have free time to explore the new & improved markets & to purchase something to eat to enjoy by the water. We will have our large icebox onboard the coach if you wish to buy some fresh seafood to take home.
After a fun-filled two days, we travel back to the Central Coast, arriving at Kariong at about 3:00pm, where we begin our **home drop off service.

**If your home pick up address is not within our advertised pick up/drop off area on the Central Coast, there will be an additional fee charged if you would like us to arrange to pick you up from/drop you off at home.
Additional Cost: $80 per person if travelling solo / $40 per person if travelling with someone from the same pick-up address.

Price - Per Person:
Single: $900
Twin Share / Double: $750 (per person)
You are welcome to pay for this tour in instalments which you can discuss with us upon booking.
Deposit & Balance:
To secure your seat, we require a $200 per person non-refundable deposit to be paid within 14 days of booking.
The balance for this tour must be paid 10 weeks before the departure date (unless an alternate arrangement has been made with Liam & Alison).
Fitness & Mobility:
Due to the activities in this tour's itinerary, it is important that people have an adequate level of mobility & stamina to ensure that they are able to enjoy this tour.
Walkers are permitted on this tour.
When booking accommodation venues, we always request walk-in showers. However, these requests cannot always be guaranteed by the venues.
Important:
Vivid Sydney can and does cancel specific nights or parts of the festival, primarily due to adverse weather (wind/rain) affecting outdoor elements like drone shows. Organisers of Vivid Sydney prioritise safety and will close sites or postpone/cancel events if conditions are unsafe. Connect Coaches has no control over this &, as such, their "A Very VIVID Tour" will still proceed even if parts of the itinerary need to be changed due to events beyond their control.
