Hawkesbury Explorer

The Hawkesbury Regional Museum

This museum is located in one of our country's oldest settlements - the third on mainland Australia after Sydney and Parramatta. The Museum is made up of a purpose-built building and historic Howe House. This Georgian house has been fitted out with furnishings and displays that reflect its many uses over more than 200 years of history.

Tizzana Winery

This winery offers a touch of Tuscany on the banks of the Hawkesbury River. It has much to offer visitors to the Windsor region. The National Trust classified building manufactures its own wines from grapes grown on the property.

Ebenezer Church

This church was built in 1809 & overlooks the banks of the Hawkesbury River. It is the oldest existing church in Australia. It became the first Presbyterian Church in Australia in 1824 and is now a member of the Uniting Church in Australia. The Schoolmaster's House contains photographs and memorabilia on Ebenezer Church's interesting history.
