At www.connectcoaches.com.au, our top priority is ensuring the safety and security of everyone. As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe environment, we require all individuals seeking bus accreditation to undergo a thorough criminal record check before beginning their course. This crucial step is highly recommended as the Road and Maritime Services (RMS) holds the authority to decline applications based on negative criminal histories. The final decision regarding your accreditation lies with the RMS, and it is imperative to demonstrate your responsibility and suitability to work with school children and the public. Certain criteria, if present in your criminal record, may lead to the rejection of your application. These include involvement in child-related sex offenses, violent behavior, an Apprehended Violence Order (AVO), poor driving history, or convictions for drink driving or drug-related offenses. While these standards may appear stringent, they are in place to safeguard the well-being of all individuals involved. We advise applicants to address any issues in their criminal records before starting the course to improve their chances of obtaining bus accreditation successfully. Our team is here to support and assist you throughout this process, so please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any concerns or queries. At www.connectcoaches.com.au, we hold integrity and transparency in high regard. We firmly believe that a clear criminal record is vital for creating a secure environment for everyone. Let's work together towards building a safer and more responsible community by upholding these standards for the well-being of all individuals involved.

To drive a public bus or coach in NSW, you need a bus driver authority from TfNSW. Eligibility requires being 20+ years old with a full Australian driver license for 12 months in the past 2 years, or 25+ years old with a current Australian license for at least 3 of the past 4 years or a recognized overseas license.

If you are concerned about your Drivers Licence I suggest Apply for your traffic record and license details at any Service NSW Service Centre or online.
