
The Sydney Jewish Museum, located in Darlinghurst, documents the Holocaust and the history of the Jewish people in Australia. It is housed in the historic Maccabean Hall, built to commemorate Jewish men and women from NSW who served in World War I. The architecture of the Museum invites visitors to have a multi-sensory engagement with the Museum and exhibitions. Within three exhibition areas, visitors will be taken on a guided tour of historical artefacts, video footage and personal stories.
