Tour Of Historic Grossmann House & Brough House - sold out

Today we visit a heritage home that captures the prosperity of Victorian-era Maitland. This distinguished building was once home to a wealthy merchant and his wife and later housed the Maitland Girls High School from 1894 to 1963. Marvel at the Victorian-era décor, see exquisite 19^th century textiles, and enjoy stunning heritage roses in the surrounding gardens.

Afterwards, we stroll next door to neighbouring Brough House, the former boarding house for Maitland Girls High School, and see local fibre makers working on heritage looms.

*ITINERARY:

• 9:00-10:00am - Home pick up service (within our pick up area for this day tour)
• 10:15am - Depart Tuggerah after a comfort stop
• 11:30am - 1:30pm - Guided tour of historic Grossmann House followed by lunch & time to visit the display in Brough House
• 2:00pm - Visit Donarch Fine Chocolates, Kurri Kurri
• 3:00pm - Arrive back at Tuggerah & begin home drop off service

PLEASE NOTE:  The ground floor of these houses are accessible for reduced-mobility visitors. Access to the upper floor is by staircase only. Visual resources are supplied for visitors who are unable to access the second story.
