Fort Scratchley Guided Tour - Wednesday 27th November, 2024
Tour Summary: We will depart the Central Coast at 8:30am after our home pick up service & travel up to Newcastle to the historic site of Fort Scratchley. Once there, we will be taken on a guided tour of the site & tunnels. Guided tours are led by passionate Fort Scratchley Historical Society volunteers with a wealth of knowledge about the site. Following the tour, we will have lunch at the Queens Wharf Hotel before making our way back to the Central Coast via the coast road.
Itinerary:
7:30 - 8:30am - home pick up service then depart Tuggerah at 8:45am
10:30 - 12:00pm - Guided tour of Fort Scratchley
12:30 - 2:00pm - Lunch at the Queens Wharf Hotel (meal only & pre-ordered)
Travel back to Tuggerah via the coast road, arriving at approximately 3.30pm

This is a 60-75 minute walking tour. As there are some stairs in the tunnel, this tour is unsuitable for wheelchairs, walkers & those with limited mobility.
