Burton Automotive Hunter Valley Steamfest 2025

All aboard the Connect Coaches Day tour to Steamfest in Maitland! This family-friendly event promises a fun-filled day with live music, historic heritage walks, market stalls, gourmet food, and more. The highlight of Steamfest is the impressive assembly of steam trains, including the annual ARTC Great Train Race and unique train trips to various Hunter destinations. At the Rally Ground, step back in time and marvel at antique machinery from all over Australia. The Show 'n' Shine event showcases over 500 classic cars alongside food stalls, live entertainment, and activities for the whole family. Experience vintage diesel rides, steampunk displays, market stalls, mini steam train rides, face painting, live entertainment, and kid's activities throughout the event. Being a weekend day tour, Connect Coaches will be providing a pick up route, rather than a home pick up/drop off service. Times will be adjusted once we know which locations we need to stop at. Connect Coaches will contact passengers a few days before this event to confirm their pick up time & pick up location.

7:15am - 8:30am - Pick up service (within our advertised pick up/drop off area)

8.30am - Comfort stop then depart Tuggerah Westfield

9.45am -  Arrive at Maitland Station Precinct, the home of Burton Automotive Hunter Valley Steamfest

10.15 - 11.30am - Take a ride to Branxton courtesy of Steam Locomotive 3265 (pulled by diesel on the return trip)

11.30am - 2pm - Free time to explore the Maitland Station Precinct & the Steamfest Rally Ground

Concession/Seniors:  $130 per person

Includes:

• pick up/drop off service (from one of the locations listed above)
• morning tea (bottled water, juice & store-bought biscuits/muffins)
• return transport to venue
• train ticket (to Branxton & return - locomotive 3265)

Passengers are welcome to bring their lunch from home or purchase it from the venue
