Day 1:

Day 1: Gosford to Canberra 

7:30-8:30am Home pick up service

8:30am Depart the Central Coast

9:30am - 10:00am Morning tea stop - Cumberland State Forest (provided by Connect Coaches)

11:30am - 1:00pm Lunch stop at Bowral - time to explore the village and purchase lunch at one of the many cafes (at own expense). Passengers can also choose to bring their own from home & we can keep it cool in our icebox 

1:00pm Depart Bowral & travel to town of Golbourne

2:00 pm - 3:00 pm Golbourne - Time to get a coffee and Browse the shops

3:00 pm Depart Golbourne for Mount Ainslie 

4:00pm Arrive at our Hotel in Canberra

Day Two:

Day 2: Canberra  to Yarrangobilly Caves 

9:00am Depart Canberra for Cooma

  • 10:30 am Snowy Hydro Discovery Centre
  • Tour of the Snowy Scheme Museum in Adaminaby
  • Photos at the 'Big Trout'
  • Lunch at Adaminaby Bakery (included in price)
  • Guided tour of Jillabenan Cave at Yarrangobilly Caves - 89metres long, flat & fully accessible

Accommodation and dinner at Caves House, Yarrangobilly Caves (Dinner included)

Day Three:

Day 3: Yarrangobilly Caves to Tumbarumba (Tuesday)

Breakfast at Caves House

Optional early morning swim in the natural thermal pool

Today we will visit the following places:

  • Black Perry lookout
  • Tumut Visitors Centre (includes a lovely art gallery)
  • Lunch at Nest Café in Tumbarumba (Included in price)
  • Guided Tour Tumut Broom Factory    -   The Tumut Broom Factory is the last original Millet Broom Factory in Australia. The Factory is located in Tumut, a small town in the Snowy Mountains. Handmade millet brooms have been made at the factory the same way since 1946, and can be found Australia wide. Owners Geoff and Rob invite you to drop into the Factory and experience the magic of the broom making tradition.
  • Boggy Creek Show    -   This award-winning 2 hour show combines all the skill of horsemanship, mustering, whip cracking, working dogs and sheep shearing in a very entertaining, educational and humorous experience in the beautiful foothills of the Snowy Mountains.....one of the 'must-dos' in Tumba.

Day Four:

Day 4: Tumbarumba to Jindabyne (Wednesday)

Visits to the following:

Chris (the owner) will board the bus upon our arrival and talk about the different sections of the garden, you will marvel at the spectacular views and see one of only 4 'tree churches' in the world, as well as ducks, sheep & dogs! The gardens are beautiful, the views are spectacular and Chris is a real character.

Visit their cellar door and mezzanine which overlooks the winery operations (Obsession are the only Tumbarumba label to make their own wine at their vineyard)

From the moment you turn off the highway into the award winning Wild Brumby Schnapps Distillery, you can expect the unexpected!

Boasting award-winning schnapps and gin, Austrian inspired food and contemporary art, the distillery is situated right in the heart of the Australian high country between Jindabyne and Thredbo.

  • Short stop at Geehi Flats in Kosciuszko National Park.

 

Lunch (included in price & also includes gin and schnapps tasting!) will be at the Wild Brumby Distillery, Thredbo Valley.


Accommodation and local high-country canapes and snacks will be enjoyed (no dinner will be needed after lunch
at the Wild Brumby!) at The Jindy Inn in Jindabyne.

 

Day Five:

Day 5: Jindabyne (Thursday)

Option 1:

  • Scenic chairlift ride in Thredbo & purchase a coffee at Australia's highest restaurant, Eagle's Nest Cafe. You will then have time to explore Thredbo Village.

OR

Option 2:

  • Scenic chairlift ride in Thredbo and guided walk to Kosciuszko Lookout (4km return)

 

This will be followed by:

  • a picnic lunch (included in price) & tour at Gaden Trout Hatchery 
  • Snowgums Boardwalk (10m or 200m walk) at Charlotte Pass for views to Mount Kosciuszko

 

Dinner (included in price) and accommodation will be at The Jindy Inn

Day Six:

Day 6: Jindabyne (Friday)

 

  • Tour via historic Dalgety and the Snowy River to Berridale
  • Visit with the artists at two local art galleries in Berridale
  • Lunch at cafe in Berridale (included in price)
  • Free afternoon in Jindabyne, including National Parks Visitor Information Centre Exhibits
  • Dinner (included in price) and accommodation at the Jindy Inn

Day Seven:

Day 7: Jindabyne back to Central Coast (Saturday)

Today we bid farewell to our friendly Gang Gang Tour operators & make our way back home. We will make a few short stops along the way to view the scenery & to enjoy morning tea (provided by Connect Coaches) & lunch (passengers to purchase).

Booking Terms & Conditions:Important: The terms, conditions and limitation of liability under which the tour operates are detailed hereunder and the payment of the tour deposit or tour price represents acceptance by the purchaser of the following:-

1. This tour has been organised and will be operated by Connect Coaches & Gang Gang Tours.

2. Deposit: To confirm your reservation, a deposit of $200.00 per person is to be paid by 1st August, 2019. Reservations will be held until this date only unless a prior arrangement has been made with Liam & Alison. Balance of payment for this tour is to be paid 3 months prior to departure (23rd November, 2019). Connect Coaches reserves the right to accept waitlist passengers in place of applicants failing to finalise within the prescribed time. Passengers may choose to pay in installments but should let Liam or Alison when paying their deposit.

3. Occasionally it may be necessary to alter or amend itineraries, accommodation and sightseeing arrangements from those published. This may be due to road, weather and other operational needs prevailing at the time and is always made in the best interest of your comfort. Any personal expenses incurred by a passenger as a result of any delay, alteration or curtailment of any tour, whether caused by mechanical defect, strikes or any other cause are the responsibility of the pas­ senger.

4. A minimum number of bookings are required to operate a tour and also to ensure an enjoyable group atmosphere. Where sufficient numbers cannot be achieved, the Company reserves the right to cancel a scheduled departure date or tour. The minimum number for this tour to proceed is 16 paying passengers.

5. Any special passenger requirements must be notified to the Company at the time of booking. No passenger will be permitted to embark or continue on the tour while their mental or physical condition is, in the opinion of any representative of the Company, such as to render themselves incapable of caring for themselves, or whereby they become objectionable to other passengers, or they become a hazard to themselves or other passengers . The Company will not be responsible for expenses resulting in such persons being precluded from completing the tour for any such reason.

6. Where a tour is cancelled prior to the departure date, according to sections 2 or 3 above, we shall endeavor to offer the nearest possible alternative tour (subject to a refund or payment to cover any tour price difference.) or, if this is not acceptable, refund your monies in full.

7. The company cannot guarantee exact arrival and departure times and is not liable for any failure to make connections with any other service or guarantee the operation of any particular  service.

8. The company reserves the right to cancel any ticket or booking or to refuse to carry any passenger where payments have not been received by the company within the times specified in the tour brochure . It is a condition of carriage that a passenger has paid all tour monies prior to departure of the tour.

9. Cancellation Fees - The follwing rates only apply to the coach travel component of the tour. Any motel or additional travel cancellation costs may be applicable as per their individual cancellation policies:

                                  60 days+ notice - 100% refund of coach component

                                  30-59 days notice - 75% refund of coach component

                                  14 - 29 days notice - 50% refund of coach component

                                  less than 14 days notice - 0% refund
