Death of a Salesman - Wednesday 12th June 2024 - sold out
Death of a Salesman Hailed as one of the greatest plays of the 20th century – Arthur Miller’s "Death of a Salesman" is directed by the acclaimed Neil Armfield (Cloudstreet, The Secret River, The Diary of a Madman, Exit the King).
Emmy®, Golden Globe® and Tony Award®-winner Anthony LaPaglia stars in the critically acclaimed production. He returns to the world of Arthur Miller as Willy Loman, joined by a company of some of Australia’s finest actors including Helpmann Award and Silver Logie winner Alison Whyte (Faith Healer, The Dressmaker) and Josh Helman (Mad Max – Fury Road, X-Men), delivering a break-out stage performance as Biff Loman.
First performed in 1949, Death of a Salesman is a play by Arthur Miller that explores the promises and perils of the American Dream. As the Loman family struggles with what it means to be successful and happy in post-war America, its members serve as symbolic representations of the struggle to define that dream.
