Itinerary:

7:30 am - 8:30 am - Home pick up service - Please click here for map

8:45am: Depart the Central Coast after a comfort stop at Kariong

10:15am: Arrive at Barangaroo & purchase a coffee before boarding the 10.38am ferry/River Cat from Barangaroo to Cockatoo Island

11:15am - 12:15pm: Guided tour - "Island Highlights Tour" - This tour charts the changing face of Cockatoo Island. As you visit key landmarks from bygone eras, your Guide will reveal how they fit into the island’s historical narrative. Your Guide will also share anecdotes about a colourful cast of real-life characters, including convicts, wayward youths and dock workers.

12:15 - 1:30pm: Time to enjoy lunch on the island. Lunch is not provided on this tour but there is a cafe on the island or you can bring your own picnic lunch and sit by the water to enjoy.

Catch the River Cat to Sydney Olympic Park Wharf - we board the ferry at 1:45pm for a cruise up the Parramatta River escorted by your tour guide. We then meet our coach driver at Sydney Olympic Park Wharf at 2:20pm who will then transport us back to the Central Coast.

4pm (approx.): Arrive back on the Central Coast

This tour is not suitable for those with limited mobility as there is walking involved & steps/sloping ground to navigate. The guided tour will start on the lower island but also move up to the plateau which is accessed by walking up a slope. If you prefer, you can choose to stay on the lower island & explore this further.
