Celebrating Sydney - 26 Years of Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi
Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi was first held in 1997. Since its inception, more than 2,500 sculptures by more than 1,000 artists from 48 countries have been exhibited at Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi.
Each year, artists from around the world submit their ideas to transform the Bondi to Tamarama Coastal Walk into the world's largest outdoor sculpture gallery, with artworks selected by the Curatorial Panel to make up an exhibition that nurtures emerging talent, encourages mid-career artists and acknowledges the skills and experiences of senior sculptors. This year’s exhibition will showcase works by over 100 artists from 23 countries, from China to the Czech Republic and Ukraine to Iceland, with all Australian states and territories represented.
