Soak up the sights, smells and scenery of Australia’s historic rail adventure – the Zig Zag Railway, established in 1869. Come with Connect Coaches and enjoy a relaxing ride on this romantic, nostalgic & impressive steam locomotive as you explore the remarkable scenery of the Greater Blue Mountains & Seven Valleys Regions.

Friday 26th September, 2025 - currently sold out (Friday 23rd May was postponed due to wet weather)

*ITINERARY:

7-8am:  Home pick up service then depart Kariong by 8:15am

Comfort stop enroute to Clarence

12:30-2pm:  Sit back, relax & take in this Zig Zag railway adventure whilst enjoying a picnic lunch onboard

2.15pm - Head back to the Central Coast with a comfort stop enroute

5:30pm:  Arrive back at Kariong & begin home drop off service

COST: $140 - Due to the popularity of this event, payment will be due 8 weeks beforehand & refunds will only be issued if we can resell your ticket.

INCLUDES: Home pick up & drop off service(click here to view map), return transfer to Clarence (between Bell & Lithgow), 90 minute ride on the zig zag railway & **lunch

** Lunch will be collected from the Zig Zag Cafe before the train departs. It will consist of a sandwich (a choice of fillings on white or wholemeal bread), a sweet treat & a bottle of water or can of soft drink
