About these Markets What's for sale?
They are a craft market, with stallholders selling a wide range of unusual and interesting hand-made goods, gifts and wares. These include ceramics, woodwork, paintings and frames, clothes and jewellery, unique furniture, gorgeous knick-knacks and trinkets, lovingly made soaps and body products, toys for the littlies, and a whole lot more. They also sell a selection of gourmet fresh, baked, and carefully prepared foods and produce. There are flowers, plants and seedlings as well. Their history
They are a volunteer market, run and organised solely by a committee of volunteers since 1982 when the markets began. Their aim is to provide a great local market as a service to the community. All funds raised are returned to needy organisations and people in the local and Sydney area. A delightful country atmosphere
The market is in the grounds of Cobbitty Public School, with lovely shade trees, some covered walkways, and the delightful country atmosphere of Cobbitty town. Refreshments
Foods available include a BBQ, vegetarian fare, turkish foods, Devonshire coffee and tea, cappuccino, fresh fruit frozen yoghurt, ice cream and lots of delicious home-made snacks and treats.
ITINERARY
6:30 - 7:30am - **Pick up route then depart West Gosford at 7:45am after a comfort stop
9:45am - 12:00pm - Free time to explore Cobbitty Village Markets
12:30pm - 1:00pm - A quick stop 'n shop at the Darrell Lee Factory, Ingleburn (Easter is just around the corner.......yum!)
2:30pm - **Arrive back on the Central Coast & begin the drop off route
** For this event, Connect Coaches will pick up passengers from various locations on the Central Coast.
Times indicated below are approximations only & may be adjusted closer to the transfer dates, depending on which pick up points are required & whether we decide to send one or two buses to do the pick ups.
Connect Coaches will contact passengers a few days beforehand to confirm their pick up time & pick up location. Click on the links below to view a map of each pick up location.
Unfortunately, there may be times where the event organisers need to cancel a market due to torrential local rainfall, severe weather warning or damaged grounds. This decision is made by the Thursday evening preceding the market.
If this occurs, Connect Coaches will provide a full refund to those who have paid if they are unable to attend on the rescheduled date.
Minimum Numbers:
This event will only proceed if 10 people have booked & paid. When cancelled by Connect Coaches, a full refund will be issued to those who have paid.
