The Original Tea Gardens Ferry
Join us at Connect Coaches for a relaxing & scenic day tour as we travel up to Nelson Bay to catch the historic Original Tea Gardens Ferry. The journey across the bay & up the Myall River features panoramic views of beautiful Port Stephens. Dolphins are frequently sighted on this cruise along with turtles & seabirds & the friendly crew will provide interesting commentary. The one hour ride will take us across to the Tea Gardens where your Connect Coaches Driver will join you for a delicious lunch at the Tea Gardens Boatshed whilst overlooking the water.
$120 - Includes home pick up & drop off service (within our advertised pick up/drop off area), bottled water & a snack, return transport to Nelson Bay/Tea Gardens, one way ferry fare & lunch (meal only).
Please note; lunch must be pre-ordered & you will have a choice of a Ploughman's Lunch or Fish & Chips.
Itinerary:
7:30 - 8:30am - Home pick up service (within our pick up/drop off area)
8.45am - Depart Westfield Tuggerah
Comfort stop enroute to Nelson Bay
11:00am - Arrive at Nelson Bay & catch the 11:30am ferry from Nelson Bay to the Tea Gardens
12:45 - 2:30pm - Enjoy lunch at the Tea Gardens Boatshed
There will also be time to look around the shops (be sure to check out Galleries in the Garden) or sit by the water to enjoy the view.
4:30pm - Arrive back at Tuggerah & begin home drop off service.

Accessibility:
This day tour is not suitable for those with limited mobility & walkers. To board the Original Tea Gardens Ferry, you need to be able to step down into the vessel. Our Connect Coaches Guide will be there to assist.
